The Internet used to go nuts every time a bit of bling landed anywhere near one of the first twins’ left hands.
So it practically imploded when Jenna Bush got engaged in August.
In a fall “20/20″ interview with Diane Sawyer, Bush revealed a few details of her engagement to Richmond native Henry Hager.
She even held the ring up for inspection. It had belonged to her fiancé’s great-grandmother, Bush said, but he had it reset.
Sawyer said Bush’s twin, Barbara, their mother, Laura, and Hager’s mother, Maggie, helped design the ring, a platinum (or white gold?) band set with a round diamond between two blue sapphires.
The band features what appears to be a circle of small diamonds; it’s hard to know exactly, despite numerous online photos of Jenna Bush’s hand as she signs her book, “Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope,” steps off Air Force One or tries to go about daily life.
